How to Clean out your Vehicle for Spring
Follow these tips to have your vehicle shiny and clean in time for the beautiful months ahead!
- Wash and Wax. Many people know that giving your vehicle a thorough washing (don’t forget to wash underneath your vehicle too!) is important to prevent rust and protect the paint, but waxing your vehicle after you wash it is also a great way to keep it clean for longer!
- Vacuum the interior. Vacuum out the floors and seats to get out any debris, sand or salt that has accumulated over the winter months. Don’t forget to vacuum underneath your floor mats too.
- Wipe down all surfaces. Using a damp cloth, wipe down your seats to keep them fresh and clean. You should also wash all of the commonly-touched surfaces to get rid of germs, like the steering wheel and door handles.
- Organize your storage. Clean out the glove compartment, center console and other storage areas in your car. Many people avoid doing this in the winter due to the cold, so trash tends to build up in these areas.
