Scraping

There is always the good, old-fashioned way. Scraping ice off your vehicle is probably the best thing for you to do in order to see out of your windshield. Make sure to sweep the snow away from your headlights and off your vehicle as well so others can see you.

Defroster

If your windshield is fogging up, don’t try to wipe it with your glove. This will create a smudge. Heat up your vehicle to defrost the front and rear windshield to give you a clearer view or you can turn on the defroster while you are driving and that will take that fogginess off your windows. If you do smudge the inside of your windshield, go buy some glass cleaner, spray it on a cleaning towel and wipe it away. This will also help with your visibility.

Home Remedies

If your windshield wipers are not working like they used to, you may want to check out some home remedies. You can try out the store-bought water repellent, but you can also use vinegar on your windshield to help melt down the snow and ice. Also, you can put rubbing alcohol on the windshield wipers to give you a better clean.
